- Original programs were run on pieces of paper that had holes punched in them
- The term "bug" originated from when comuters were the size of rooms, and cockroaches would get stuck in the
machines. These pests would then short-circut the computer, causing it to break.
- There are some programming languages that exist to purely be annoying, or artistic. These are known as Esoteric
Programming Languages, or Esolangs
- The first computer virus was created in 1983, and was called "Elk Cloner"
- The first online transaction was the sale of weed from across two university campuses, the only two to own
computers at the time
